Business Wire Names Media Industry Veteran Scott Fedonchik Vice President of Marketing

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 30, 2014-- Scott
Fedonchik, an award-winning executive with broad experience implementing
integrated communications programs across multi-channel media
platforms, has been named Business Wire's vice president of marketing.
He will report to Gregg Castano, Business Wire's president.
Fedonchik joins Business Wire from Wenner Media, where he was in charge
of marketing and branded content for its Rolling Stone,
RollingStone.Com and Men's Journal properties. A major focus during his
tenure was creating custom advertising programs for blue-chip companies,
which included digital and print elements. Additionally, Fedonchik
built digital, native, and social campaigns for clients on
RollingStone.com.
Previously, Fedonchik served as vice
president of marketing communications at WebMD, where his
responsibilities included trade media campaigns, industry conferences,
and internal communications.
Earlier in his career,
Fedonchik was a senior executive at Conde Nast's golf publishing
division, managing strategic alliances with major PGA Tour sponsors and
broadcast networks, as well as custom publishing opportunities for Golf
Digest's magazine and digital properties.
Fedonchik's
creativity and leadership has been recognized by major industry
publications, including Advertising Age, Folio, and MIN.
